Compensation

€60,000 – €85,000 + performance share

Sovereign cloud onboarding, backup/DR, security-stack operations for our bundle customers in Rhine-Main.

As Cloud & Security Engineer you plan and operate hosting in German data centres, backup and DR solutions, and our security stack. You make sure our customers' servers run reliably and come back online quickly when something happens.

What you'll do:

✓Sovereign cloud migration and operations in German data centres
✓Backup and disaster-recovery design (Veeam, Hornetsecurity 365 Backup)
✓Security-stack operations (Defender, SentinelOne, Hornetsecurity)
✓Monitoring, incident response, compliance reporting
✓Air-gap and on-premise solutions in special cases
✓On-site installation and maintenance at customer sites

What you bring:

•Cloud-platform experience (Azure, Proxmox, sovereign cloud)
•Backup/DR concepts and tools (Veeam etc.)
•Linux and Windows server administration
•Understanding of security best-practices and compliance

Nice to have:

+Proxmox- or VMware-migration experience
+ISO 27001 / BSI Grundschutz background
+Terraform / infrastructure-as-code
+Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
